The Magical Herd

You could hear the sounds of water nearby...ah, there is was. An entire river flowing through the grasslands. You sit down in the shade of a large willow tree and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

You had no idea how long you had been there, time seemed to have no meaning anymore. But there is was again, ripples on the water moving towards the river bank. First a head appears, then the neck, followed by the entire body of the green and black stallion. He shook out his mane, spraying water everywhere.

When he saw you he snorted. "What is a human doing on my river?" he demanded.

You explained how you came to be here. That seemed to satisfy him and he became very friendly. "I am Shino, a Nomakoto Nabiki." That didn't tell you much be he didn't go into details. Instead he bombarded you with hundereds of questions. Ok, maybe it wasn't really that many, but it certainly felt like it.

At last he complained about being to hot, and without another word disappeared into the river. He probably used his gills to breath underwater. Interesting creature.
