You look around, a shiver going down your spine. It felt like someone was watching you, but you couldn't see anyone.
You stood up to get a better view. Nothing. You turn to sit back down only to come face to face with a grinning drigus. You fall back in surprise as she starts laughing.
~Silly human so easy to sneak up on! Good thing you don't taste good. Besides, hunting you is boring.~
That was a nice thought. You weren't sure if that was an insult, or you should just be happy about it.
She plops down beside you. ~I am Na'Kal from the Dru'siti Desert. ~
You mention Til'mali and Zathras and she nods, knowing them both. ~I've not seen either of them in a very long time. Zathras I avoid, he talks too much. Til'mali never comes around, he sleeps too much. Ah well, I guess your company will suffice, you don't talk too much, nor do you sleep too much. You're just about right...except you haven't any stripes. But I can ignore that.~
You chat a while with the female, until you suddenly realize you are talking to yourself. She had vanished. Not like "gotten up to leave" vanish, but "gust of wind, some blowing sand, and gone" vanished. Sigh, alone again.
