You decide to put your past behind you and continue on as if nothing had happened. You were happy when you discovered another gryphon whorling, a smiling female.

"Hi, I'm Lavander," she said. "What's your name?" Things were looking good, she didn't mention anything about Sabre. You introduce yourself, and again, see didn't seem to think anything odd about you. Now if only you could stop thinking about that scary whorling.

"Hey lovely."

The green male whorling winked. At first you thought it a weird greeting, but then you realize he had directed it towards Lavander, not you. He cocked his head to one side, "I'm Crest, and that guy back there, he's Aztec."

You couldn't quite say what it was about Aztec that made him so handsome. He was pretty straightfoward as gryphons go around here, now glowy parts, no sparkly feathers. Maybe it was the way he'd folded his wings, or that look in his eye. Either way you were sure he had to beat females off with a big stick.

"Heya Moth, come on over here," Crest said looking up at the sky. You do the same and see a whorling with buttefly-like wings. She smiled and landed nearby.

"Have you travelled far?" she asked sweetly. You nod, telling her about all the strange and wonderful creatures you'd met along the pass so far, and you were certain that there were stranger ones yet to come. She smiled again, "I'd really like to see a lion one day. I'm told they are very strange looking, kind of like a gryphon without a beak or feathers. How weird would that be?" Moth giggled and Crest laughed.

"What did I miss this time? Oh, hello there!"

Another female joined the group. You stare at her powerful talons. She looked to be part dragon or something. "My name is Strike, traveller." Once again, you introduce yourself while the others explain what made them laugh so.
