Hi, I'm Goat.

Things were just fine around here until UNICORN showed up.

So what if he can fly?

Or make it rain cupcakes?

And turn stuff into gold?

Big deal.

I can do some cool stuff too, like...

Hey! What are you doing? Why are you opening the book?

He's just going to tell you how great he is. Blah, blah, blah.

Go ahead. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Dopey Unicorn.

The artwork in this book is horrible. Ok, I admit I'm not a fan of modern children's book art where the quality is worse than what that child would be capable of producing, maybe kids like it though. And it is meant to be a silly book so silly art is appropriate. At least it's nice and colourful, what with it raining cupcakes and rainbows and all.

On the other hand, I really liked the story. See, we have Goat, who used to think he was pretty cool as he rode his bike to school. But then Unicorn came along and he could fly! The Goat made some marshmallow treats, but he had to trash them when Unicorn made his cupcakes. Even when it rained, Goat would get wet but Unicorn could prance about in a ball of glittering sunshine. Goat was getting pretty tired of Unicorn upstaging him all the time.

Until the day Unicorn found Goat doing something that Unicorn could not do. And they started finding even more things that Goat could do that Unicorn could not (let's just say headbutting a ball while playing soccer works a lot better for a goat than a unicorn). We even find out the things that Goat was envious of, like Unicorn's horn, weren't all that great if you had to live with it. Maybe it turns out, that other kid who you thought was living a perfect life, wasn't really all that special after all and in truth, he was jealous of how lucky you were!
