I was never a big fan of Annakin, he was an annoying bratty teenager with a chip on his shoulder (guess he wouldn't have gone to the dark side if he wasn't), but The Trail of the Jedi got into my hand for free so figure, why not, its short and I'm reading science fiction this year, might as well give it a quick read. It was entertaining enough, the Jedi running around a planet on a training exercise that turns into hunting bounty hunters.

As for the rest of the series, unfortunately most are not available at any libraries I have access to so I might get to read a couple more but that's it. But that's fine, I have a GIANT pile ot Star Trek books to work through!!

Path to Truth - the only one available at my physical library, I sorta like this one, it used Annakin's anger to good use, pitting him against a slave trader, what with him and his mother having grown up as slaves, his reactions are understandable. It also forced the Jedi Council to act instead of simply observe. Of course the Jedi are the good guys but it was also interesting to see that they too are bound by political and other limitations that make then not lift a finger when things such as slavery are happening and people are suffering. I don't know if that makes it ok for someone to go vigilante, we can't all start taking the law into one's hands. Interesting questions.
