This is a group of books intended for early readers (I couldn't find an actual list of how many there are, so I just listed the ones I found at my library). They are based on the How to Train your Dragon TV and movie franchise, which is itself very loosely based on the books by Cressida Crowell. The books are illustrated from Dreamworks CGI, probably from the TV series.

Now, the language is very simple, even more so than some picture books, but of course it is meant for children to read themselves, not for parents to read to them. I haven't seen the TV series so I don't know if they are simply direct retellings of various episodes or if they are new adventures. But either way, I'm a huge fan of the movies so I had some fun spending time with Hiccup and Toothless while I wait for the third movie to come out very soon.
