I was going through a bunch of children's books to give away when I stumbled across these tucked away in the back of the shelves in the basement. Their covers were beaten and battered, the pages were loose, there were stickers glued to the pages and pencil doodles here and there. But I would never part with them.

The cute little tales of bunnies, frogs, squirrels and mice have enchanted children generation after generation for good reason. I know the reason why those books are in such poor condition, I read them so many times! I don't even know where to begin to describe Beatrix Potter's works. The tales are timeless, full of fun and mischief and magic. I remember I actually used to get mad as some of the more naughty characters. The artwork is just beatiful, perfect for a series of children's stories. The truth is these books speak for themselves, no child should grow up without knowing who Peter Rabbit or Benjamin Bunny is. I'm old enough to have children of my own, but I'm thinking I'd like to complete my collection, I didn't realize I was missing so many!
