Can a story save the kingdom?
When Leo's mom and dad send him off to fight a dragon, he takes a shield, a sword--and a pile of his favorite books.
But can a story be as mighty as a sword?

I was only a couple of creatures in when I decided I loved this book. See, I love fantasy creatures and griffins don't get enough page time. And the artwork was beautiful. And the rhyming prose just rolled easily off the tongue. And of course, it was a book about books, and you can't go wrong with that. And not only that, it was about the power of books, that you don't need to fight a dragon to tame him, that you just need to threaten to destroy the book with the dragons in it to convince him to behave himself. And as a reward for cleaning up his mess, he gets to have his story read to him 6 times!
Because in the end, everyone wants to hear a good story. Wish I owned this book instead of having to return it to the library, or if I had a kid of my own to give a copy to.
