An adorable tale of a dragon that just wants a hug, but everyone refuses him, for a reason he is supposed to know but the reader doesn't (must admit with the name Sloppy I thought it was because he was dirty/smelly and didn't like baths but that wasn't it). The illustrations are whimsical and you can't help but feel sorry for Sloppy with everyone rejecting him, after all, he's a nice guy. Eventually he gets so frustrated he refuses the hug he is offered. But in the end he can't resist and you discover that he really is sloppy after all!
