A tale of a great puppy rescue, a whole one-hundred-and-one of them, to be saved from an evil woman who wanted to turn their beautiful spotted coats into a coat for herself!

We all know the Disney movie and this is the same but in book form. As usual, when a book is simply a retelling of a movie, the movie is better, though it's been so long since I've seen the movie I can't really compare. Apparently the Disney movie was based on a book of the same name by Dodie Smith so that might be worth looking up and comparing to the famous Disney movie.

Otherwise the story is cute, the illustrations the same as in the movie, and it is such a small size that it's perfect for little kids to read, or to read to your kids.
