With a PHOOSH and a Grrrrrr and a CANNONBAAAALLLLLL! Little Dragon tears through his day (and the house). But even when he gets a little too rambunctious, there’s no OH NO! that Mama’s kiss can’t fix.
Jim Averbeck celebrates both the tremendous energy of a little boy and the tenderness shared between mother and child in this vibrant picture book that begs to be read aloud.

A cute tale of a little dragon showing off his flaming skills but then has to take a bath to get rid of all the soot. While fooling around in the tub he accidentally swallows some water and he loses his fire. He tries several things to get his fire going again but only his mother's love can help.
There are some cute details in the book, like Little Dragon's house is a castle apparently in a normal neighbourhood (better the stone walls given all the fire!) and if you look closely at the details you'll see his bath tub stands on human skulls and the shower is made up of what looks like the backbone of a viking. A little disturbing actually, but you need to be paying attention to notice those things. I found I wasn't a huge fan of the art, and I didn't find the prose flowed enough, but it was certainly a cute story to read to your kids.
