Volume 1
When Fuuta comes home tired at night, all he wants to do is spend time with his sister’s cat, Kyuruga. So many of the mysterious habits and mannerisms of house cats—from the surprising array of shapes Kyuruga likes to twist into, to the bizarre challenge of getting a good photo of him, to his lightning-fast mood changes—are carefully reproduced in this relaxed and cute comedy about living with an adorable furball!
Volume 2
It's time for even more stories about Fuuta’s life with his sister’s cat Kyuruga! From the secret to luring cats where you want them to go, to the way they always want to lie in front of your TV screen or keyboard when you're using them, to how excited they get when you return from a long trip, cat owners are sure to see something of their own fur balls in Fuuta and Kyuruga's daily adventures!
Volume 3
Fuuta’s daily life with his sister’s cat Kyuruga continues! Between all the different ways to pet a cat and all the different ways a cat asks for attention, there’s always more for Fuuta to learn about living with a feline companion!
Volume 4
It may seem like housecats have it made, but it’s not all lazy naps in the sun and playing with catnip mice—Kyuruga also needs to deal with his owners constantly fawning and preening over him! And this adorable fuzzball is about to be subjected to all sorts of well-meaning but unwelcome behavior, from trimming his nails, cleaning his ears, balancing small items on his head, to even the most dreadful fate of all—a trip to the vet!

These books are adorable. Ok, they aren't fantasy, not by a long stretch so I guess they don't belong in my library but I love cats so much. Kyuruga has moments that I thought were unique to some of the cats I've owned. Like making faces when there is something stinky, only in my case my cat didn't like the minty smell of toothpaste, so much so that if you opened a brand new toothbrush he'd wince before even giving it a sniff. And other moments, like how they make faces when they smoosh their whiskers, or "help" to make the bed. Somehow I've never had a cat that would sit on my computer or books but one did sit on a puzzle I was making.
There's no plot here, its just little observation the author made of his sister's cat while he lived at her place. They are indeed curious little creatures that are utterly fascinating, mysterious, and affectionate. They can be aloof and graceful, but also clumsy goofballs.
I can't imagine a world where I'm not spending nights with a cat =^.^= Cozy comfort reading indeed.
