Tu es prête? A toi de jouer !

It has been a long, long time since I last read a Choose Your Own Adventure type story. I was never really a huge fan of them, even when I was a kid, but as I'm trying to read as many unicorn books as I can this year, it felt a little nostalgic to read one once again. I had some fun trying to make sure I made my way down every path and read each of the numbered sections, finding myself either permanently lost in the unicorn land or home with a pony of my own about equally likely. And there were some fun quirky characters like a donkey with a pinecone stuck to it's head, or a tyrannical unicorn tormenting a castle. It was fun and I liked the illustrations, even though the same ones were often repeated in diffent sections. I wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't a library book but was a fun couple of hours of distraction just the same.
