What do dragons learn at Madam Dragon's school?
How to fly. . .
How to roar. . .
How to breathe fire!
Zog is the most eager student in the class, but he's also the most accident-prone. With each test (and each bump, bruise, or scrape), his dream of earning a gold star seems further away than ever.
But a mysterious girl keeps coming to his rescue. And when Zog faces his toughest test yet, she may be just the person to help Zog win classroom glory!

A silly tale of a dragon student who wants more than anything else to win a gold star, but no matter how hard he practices something always seems to go wrong, like flying into a tree, or setting himself on fire. But this mysterious girl keeps coming to his rescue and encouraging him to keep going, a mystery girl that might just change the lives of not just one dragon but a knight in shinning armour too!
The illustrations were cute, though I didn't love them, and the plot a little silly but the rhyme is well done. It's not my favorite of little kid dragon books that I've read this year but I can see little kids really enjoying this one. And who knows maybe it will encourage some kids somewhere to strive for their own gold stars (or maybe they'll want to become flying doctors, we'll see!)
