Is believing in magic the key to seeing a unicorn? If you keep your eyes open to wonder, the possibilities are endless.
Is that a horse wearing a hat? It's definitely not a unicorn in disguise -- that would be ridiculous, right? It's probably just a horse that's having a bad hair day. Or trying to keep the sun out of its eyes. Or perhaps this horse just really likes hats! If you follow it long enough, maybe it will take off its hat and you'll finally know for sure. Or will you? It's all a matter of perspective in this cheerful, cheeky story about seeing magic in the everyday.

So is it a horse with a hat or a unicorn hiding it's horn? Though the blurb is about seeing magic in the everyday, it isn't everyday that I see a horse with a hat so that'd be pretty magical anyway. I liked the other horses with hats we run into along the way in the background while following our white horse with his red top hat. Even at the end, when the hat is removed, is the horn only an optical illusion and it's still just a horse?
On the whole it was an ok book, I didn't love it but didn't dislike it either. The story was cute enough, the artwork nice enough but wasn't something I felt I would feel the urge to keep as a childhood favorite.
