Some dragons are scary but not Danny. He loves to help his friends with his fiery breath. But Danny is in for a nasty surprise when a stranger arrives in town.

A cute book designed to help children learn to read. Because of that the text uses very basic and simple words that has a fair amount of repetition, but that is what the book is designed for. If you've read any of my other reviews, you'll know I'm don't like illustrations that look like as if a child from the target age group drew it but seems to be a common thing in more recent kids books.
But otherwise it's a fun story about wanting to have a purpose and being needed. See Danny helps people start their fires are night to cook and stay warm, or lights their candles so they can read, but when a salesman comes by with magic fire sticks, people don't really need Danny anymore. They still like him, he just doesn't have a purpose in the town. Not until that night when some robbers wander into town...
