A long time ago, there lived a princess named Cinnamon.
Cinnamon had pearls for eyes. Cinnamon did not talk.
Her father and mother offered many riches to anyone who could get Cinnamon to speak.
One day a tiger came to the palace, armed with knowledge of the world, and everything changed.

Cinnamon is a princess. She is also blind and she doesn't talk. Many came to try to get her to speak but all failed, all that is until the tiger came. He taught her fear and showed her love, and told her about the world outside the palace walls. Finally the princess has something worth talking about.
The illustrations were nice, the style fitting for this tale set in India, with lush jungles, vibrant flowers and of course the magnificent tiger. I wouldn't say I particularly loved this book, but it was nice and I'm sure a lot of kids will enjoy it.
