Goblins!: A Survival Guide and Fiasco in Four Parts. An illustrated guide and cautionary tale.

Normally I don't mind too much reading the French version of a book that I otherwise have trouble getting my hands on, but here I think I lost a lot in translation. There were plays on words which I only realized if I read the goblin name in English.
That said, I still didn't like this book as much as the other Froud books. Those were whimsical, but this one was more crude. They made fun of both the author and artist, treating them as lunatics. The art wasn't as appealing as in the other books. And while probably accurate, most of the content was about farts, burps and other bad smells attributed to the goblins. There were also four whole pages dedicated to goblin holiday and their icky and/or violent traditions, it was just a little much.
Glad that one came from the library, it won't stop me from trying to find other Froud books, but I'll be avoiding re-reading this one in the future.
