The Angry Little Knight, otherwise known as Hothead, is tired of “practice” fighting. He wants a real adventure. But when he rides his trusty steed into the dark forest, he finds more than he bargained for: a little dragon that is just as bad-tempered as he is. Will the dragon eat the knight? Will the knight slay the dragon? Both little hotheads are in for a surprise, and the dark forest will never be the same again.

Hothead (well, that's what his parents nicknamed him since he tends to be a little short-tempered) is a young knight who spends all his time training, after all he wants to be the best. But eventually, he realizes a knight needs to fight a real battle, not just practice. So when the dragons start acting up he hops onto his trusty steed and rides out into the forest. There he meets the dragon Dripdry who has hiccups. Then, as the two youngsters find themselves alone in what is a creepy woods they find that maybe working together is best. Then with the help of a feather, and a dip in the river, a friendship is born, after all, adventures don't require you to fight, sometimes you just need to have fun. On the whole I didn't much love this book, neither the prose nor the artwork, but it was alright.
