Every night, baby dragon Cedric loves his mom to read his favorite dragon book. He wants to hear it over and over again until the exhausted mom falls asleep...

Oh, this book is not what I expected. It starts as a bedtime tale with a young dragon asking his mother to read him a bedtime story about Cedric the dragon who is bright red and goes about terrorizing the area. As the baby dragon repeatedly asks his mother to read him the story again, the story changes, with Cedric becoming more interesting sleeping and being rather more friendly. But eventually mother dragon can't stay away any longer to read the story again and the baby dragon begins to turn red, and angry, and he starts breathing fire...there even a burnt hole in one of the pages (which if you flip you'll see story book characters escaping from it). I don't think there was much of a moral given that it ends with the baby dragon having a tantrum rather than going to sleep, but I rather liked the out of the box thinking, a book almost more for adults than for kids. Fun!
